Behold, my new account and new artistic identity: RubbishRaccoon (I've just uploaded a fun little animation there, you should check it out). Why? I've been wanting to rebrand for years, but wasn't sure to what. And now, thanks to a certain person comparing me to a raccoon, I found a username I find both humorous and relatable. What about this account? I'm keeping it and there might even be some updates - say, if I ever find the time to update the flash generators, I'll update them on this account. In addition to sentimental value, I don't want to break any links going to this account. Though I might put certain recent pieces in storage here and reupload to RubbishRaccoon with the new signature. Will RubbishRaccoon actually be active? My sources say yes. Maybe. I've not posted much here because I've been busy colouring comic books and I've got more colour work on the way. But with some luck, I'll also be making painting videos soon and those paintings will need to be uploaded

So Eclipse is DA's default site theme now. I suspect it won't be long before the classic theme is gone completely. What do I think? It's far from flawless. It might take years for the interface to become more polished and less clunky, but when it happens, I'm sure it'll be the best DA we've ever had. It looks like every other portfolio site and I'm fine with that. I like that our art is the visual focus now. I do have a problem with the desktop interface being an afterthought (how big do these menus need to be?). I stopped using DA on mobile a while ago, but I won't be surprised if it still crashes a lot, despite clearly being a priority. I happily live under a rock, so I don't know what everyone else thinks. I assume there's a lot of hate for Eclipse. I can see why - something you know and love is being swapped for a weird bootleg copy of ArtStation.
