As I've said before, the comic isn't dead. And now we have proof! I'm planning to do it in flash form from now on. And yes, I will make a preloader eventually. I know I've mentioned that I'm planning to submit a short story soon. Well, this isn't it. I wanted to see if I'd be able to make a special in a week. I've kind of managed. I also know a few new ways of how not to draw a comic now. So... the backgrounds make me want to cry, the sketchy quality I was going for with this backfired massively resulting in a very weird effect... A few other drawing strategies failed.. ah well... On the bright side, after I've drawn my characters g4 style, it's easier to keep my style of choice from falling apart. And yes, the ponies in my comic are omnivores by nature. The reasons behind that are explained later in the story.

Honestly didn't notice the backgrounds, not in a bad way but you want the focus to be on the characters right? At least that's what I was looking at
Glad you liked the story. I thought it was a bit weak since I was coming up with it as I sketched.
Also good to hear about the backgrounds. I was afraid the characters didn't stand out from them. I'm gonna try a different approach with the next chapter, but it's nice to know this one didn't fail too badly
